Are you wondering how you and other neighborhood councils can help address the climate crisis? Would you like to engage your community to make a difference?
Join us Saturday afternoon, January 11 at Los Angeles City College (LACC) to hear from the Mayor’s Office of Sustainability, to learn what other neighborhood councils are doing, and to discuss any ideas you have to support LA's Green New Deal.
This is an opportunity to talk with people from other neighborhood councils and brainstorm and flesh out ideas, with the support of the City and the NCSA.
IMPORTANT—if you have an idea for a neighborhood council or are already doing something and would like to discuss it with a small group on the 11th (for feedback, to improve it, or in case others might be inspired by it), please let NCSA steering board member Lisa Hart know by emailing [email protected]. You can also just bring your idea or topic to the meeting.

Where to go and how to get there:
The meeting will be held on the LACC campus on the first floor of the Student Union building. Here is a link to a map of the LACC campus: https://www.lacitycollege.edu/About/Maps-Parking/documents/LACCCampusMap.
LACC is just south of the Vermont/Santa Monica station on Metro's Red Line (now the B line).
If you are driving, you can park on campus. Enter the parking structure marked "Lot 4" on Heliotrope Drive north of Melrose. The Student Union building is just east of the parking structure.
