The NCSA and the Mayor’s office will be hosting a listening session about what we want our low-rise residential neighborhoods to look like and how they can integrate sustainable design while supporting community stability and affordability.

This is one of several listening sessions that will inform a housing design competition as part of an effort to develop housing policy in low-rise neighborhoods in a way that will address the “missing middle” (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Missing_Middle_Housing) 

and reflect the hopes and concerns of residents about the future of our neighborhoods. 

This is an opportunity for all of us to create a vision together, rather than just fending off proposals from the State.
