Can we leverage neighborhood councils' planning and land use committees to foster sustainable development?

Come listen to representatives of neighborhood councils that have begun to incorporate sustainability (such as tree preservation, energy conservation, electric vehicle charging capabilities, and stormwater capture) into their discussions with developers. And talk with representatives of the US Green Building Council and the City Planning Department, as well as developers, as we share best practices, what has worked, what hasn't, and where we want to go from here.

And please bring members of your NCs' planning and land use committees!

Find buddies to carpool with at https://www.groupcarpool.com/t/3n05ph.
The center is a short walk from the Orange Line—the nearest stop is Tampa.

Light snacks will be provided. Please bring a reusable bottle or mug!

We have changed the start time to 2 pm in order to accommodate the Neighborhood Council Budget Day.
And we have moved the location (just a very short distance) in order to avoid the heat!

Will you come?
