Transportation Demand Management and Biodiversity

The City of LA is expanding its efforts to limit traffic, and wants your input! Join us to learn about and help shape the proposed update of the Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Ordinance and Program with Emily Gable of City Planning and discuss how NCs can help influence future TDM plans. You can learn more here and here.

We will also talk with Michelle Barton from LA Sanitation and Environment (LASAN) about biodiversity here in LA, the links between biodiversity and urban forestry, and the City's efforts to protect our biodiversity, which include getting certified as a wildlife habitat. We'll also talk about encouraging hyperlocal Community Wildlife Habitat certification, which might be one fun way for NCs to support the biodiversity we have.

Join us to discuss both these issues!
