a vision for our future?

Lindsay Sturman and Ed Mendoza, co-founders of the Livable Communities Initiative (LCI), will lead a discussion on the LCI vision for Los Angeles that is designed to reduce housing costs, help folks get around without a car, and make our neighborhoods more walkable, bikeable, and accessible to transit, which will help reduce our impact on the climate.

And then our representatives will vote (as recommended by our transportation committee) on whether or not to support the LCI motion in Council File 21-1230-S2 (which has already passed) and to join the LCI coalition.

Afterward, Raquel Beltran, general manager of the Department of Neighborhood Empowerment (DONE), will join us to discuss DONE's proposed Fiscal Year 2023–2024 budget.

The recordings of the meeting are available on our YouTube channel: Part 1 (Livable Communities Initiative) and Part 2 (DONE budget).

Will you come?
