Many people have been working to create a network of wildlife corridors in the LA area that could have profound implications for our wildlife, our biodiversity, and our experience of the city.

Lena Mik, policy planner, and Conni Pallini, senior city planner, from City Planning will walk us through the new draft wildlife ordinance.

Andy Shrader, director of environmental affairs & sustainability for Councilmember Paul Koretz, will share with us a vision of connected wildlife corridors that could become reality.

Also, our representatives will vote on the ordinance and another motion to help get us there, both of which our advocacy committee recommends we support:

Draft Wildlife Ordinance
Council File 14-0518 (Koretz) the document is not in the council file yet because it is still a draft
Revised Draft Wildlife Ordinance Public Release
Revised Draft Wildlife Ordinance Fact Sheet

Regionwide Wildlife Habitat Connectivity Plan
Council File 22-0483 (Raman et al.)
Motion
