Join us to celebrate Earth Day month!
Marta Segura, the newly appointed director of our brand-new Climate Emergency Mobilization Office, will talk with us about her vision for the department and next steps.
Then we'll talk with Liliana Griego of Friends of the Los Angeles River (FoLAR), which is leading the effort to oppose the LA River Master Plan. We'll discuss the concerns with the plan and what neighborhood councils can do. (To learn more, visit ncsa.la/advocacy_la_river.)
And then we'll continue the conversation with our representatives and allies about how the NCSA will take positions.
