LA Climate Moonshot launch event

Los Angeles is one of three cities, along with Irvine and Petaluma, that will each receive $1 million to support the Cool Block neighborhood program and develop a climate moonshot strategy—an ambitious, exploratory, and ground-breaking approach to increase neighborhood emergency preparedness and reduce water and energy use toward a more sustainable and resilient LA.

Join LA's Climate Moonshot Team, our community partners, and our Cool Block leaders for a conversation about the Cool City Challenge and how you can be involved. Participants will also have an opportunity to meet other Cool Block leaders and help shape the LA Climate Moonshot vision to reach carbon neutrality by 2030.

This event is open to ALL community members interested in LA’s climate journey. Please save the date and invite your friends and neighbors to join us to learn how they can be part of the LA Moonshot climate movement.
